A child’s imagination is like a box, a magical box of possibilities. One day, it will help them think outside the box, but today, the box needs filling. It needs to be filled with stories—stories of adventure and courage, of whimsy and honor, of comedy and resilience.

Our Story
Once upon a time, three best friends found themselves stuck around the world during the pandemic. It was a scary time for everyone, and the world needed more joy and light, now more than ever.
They wanted to bring more fun to kids who couldn't go to school or play with their friends. So they vowed to begin a new adventure. To start making children's books, and give parents more stories of hope for their children.
What started off as a hobby out of boredom, their quest turned into FolksnFables - a creative agency of magical illustrators, puntastic writers and wild imaginators with a mission to shape the minds of a generation of kind and loving human beings, one inspiring story at a time!

Co-Founder and Creative Director- Art & Design
Indu works with our artistic wizards to make the magic happen. The bridge between you and our creators. Our chief imaginator that leads the creative direction for our books. She is an urban designer by day working in Vancouver, Canada.
Neethi Joseph
Co-Founder and Creative Director- Art & Design
Neethi is the face of our Folks - you’ll most likely befriend her on your very first call. She brings authors' visions to life with ease, and make your project feel like a breeze. She's a children's designer at heart - creating vibrant learning spaces for children as an Architectural Designer.

Amrita Ananthakrishnan
Art Director
Amrita is our rockstar AD who takes the lead for our creative thinking. Her sketchbook is a sanctuary for spontaneous doodles, and she's known to sneak in a quick nap whenever possible. Amrita loves to find inspiration in her memories and the vibrant culture surrounding her.

Designer
Meet Jumana, our in-house designer extraordinaire! She brings our art to life with the same wide-eyed wonder she had flipping through picture books as a kid. She's been with us from the start, spreading wonder through her magical brush strokes.
